Donation of Storage Box
We had been struggling with maintaining the field equipment, rakes, liner, even umpire gear in a place that was safe, secure and convienient for coaches to take care of the field. Often requiring some coaches or volunteers to shuttle equipment back and forth.
With the OK from the borough public works (Parks Dept) and Recreation, we sought out options for storage. Thanks to this donation, arranged by Chris Russo, we can now store tools and equipment at the field while stretching the budget.
Batting Cages at Edge Sports Academy
With all the rain early in the practice season, we hope that coaches will be able to make use of these cages to get in some batting practice for the players. If this works out for this year, we will look to put something like this in place in upcoming seasons.
